Victorian inlaid walnut serpentine card table
This Victorian inlaid walnut serpentine card table was made at the height of some of the finest burr walnut antique furniture being made.
Our example here is in the high-end bracket of quality.
The table stands on end supports joined by a pole stretcher, all with fine carving. The end supports with the cabriole legs with the desirable rounded carved toes with the original castors under.
The card-table is of a serpentine outline, the burr walnut top with intricate inlays to each corner all joined by box wood stringing.
The top swivels and opens to reveal the original baize playing surface.
