A charming antique Victorian walnut and marquetry inlaid overmantle mirror dating from circa 1870. It has a moulded d-shaped frame with beautifully figured walnut veneers with marquetry inlay. The base is flanked by shaped brackets and it stands on white porcelain bun feet. Mirror plate has some foxing to it. With original backing boards.

Marks and scuffs commensurate with age. Some foxing in places and loss of silvering to the mirror plate.
