Victorian Smokers Bow Armchair Captains Desk Chair
A handsome antique Victorian smokers bow chair with really good colour and patina. With curved top rail and turned spindles beneath, above an attractive saddle shaped seat and standing on turned legs with double stretchers. A really stylish example with beautiful original patina to the wood. Lots of age and wear – with dents to the top rail and the initials “HFCC” deeply carved onto the arm, all adding to its charm and character. Initials GH stamped to back of seat. Dating from circa 1890.
