A pretty Victorian silver plated biscuit/cookie jar engraved with a stylized ivy design, with a nice old family crest of a Knight's arm holding a dagger! Stands on ball and claw feet, the base is pierced to the edge.

The maker is Webster Danby & Co, circa 1890.
