A fabulous Victorian revival scarab beetle brooch with feature pearl.

The brooch displays two genuine scarab beetles which have a rich iridescent green coloured coating. They are set in either pinchbeck or gold gilt metal. The centre of the unique brooch displays a cultured pearl which just adds to the overall quality of the piece.

The Egyptians considered the scarab beetle as a symbol of life.
