Unusual Antique Victorian quality burr walnut inlaid games table having a quality burr walnut lift up top with a inlaid chess board lifting up to reveal an adjustable writing surface with the original tooled leather writing surface above a fitted drawer and a sliding burr walnut inlaid work box supported by four turned carved solid walnut columns and raised on four carved solid walnut shaped cabriole legs with original castors united by a turned shaped carved stretcher.

The addition of a writing surface makes this delightful piece unusual but special. In lovely original condition.
