Fantastic quality carved oak throne chair from the fabulous Victorian era. The beautifully carved back rest has a padded central panel and barley twist supports top with carved finials. The open arms supported by barley twist uprights have padded elbow rests and carved scroll ends. This outstanding chair is of solid construction with barley twist legs, united by barley twist stretchers. The wine coloured velvet like fabric covering the seat, back and arms is clean with no marks or tears and edged with small brass tacks. A striking example of Victorian workmanship with desirable aged patina and gorgeous rich colouring this will provide both style & function to be welcomed in any home.
