Victorian Oak & Walnut-Framed Easy Chair

This antique armchair dates from the second half of the nineteenth century. It has a wooden frame that looks to be a mix of oak and walnut with turned legs, arm supports and spindles at the back. It has an over-holstered, back, seat and arms and is supported on turned front legs and swept back legs terminating in brass castors. The seat is sprung. The upholstery is later and is dated and worn.
Condition: Overall this chair is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent age and use. It is solid with only some slight movement in the joints. The wooden frame is scuffed and worn and has some fading as might be expected. The upholstery is later, but is dated and worn and would benefit from replacement. The seat is a little sunken.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 82.5cm high, 65cm wide, 74cm deep (to maximums) 34cm high to seat. Further images are available. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Viewing is welcome, but please contact us before travelling as we are only open by appointment.
We can arrange delivery of both smaller items and furniture - please contact us for details and a quote. Customers are also welcome to use their own couriers if preferred.
Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer, cheque [UK only], and cash on collection.
