Antique Victorian mahogany desk office elbow swivel chair.
Dates from the second half of the 19th Century.
Solid, heavy and strong with no loose joints.
Full of age, character and charm.
Period brass and ceramic castors (some wear as one would expect).
No woodworm.
Overall maximum dimensions
59cmW x 60cmD x 87cmH (44cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. There have been historic structural repairs and strengthening (as one would expect), but all is strong and solid now. There is a little play in the swivel mechanism (as one would expect), but not too much.
