Victorian Mahogany Balloon Back Slipper Chair
A wonderful antique Victorian mahogany bedroom chair dating from circa 1870. With an attractively shaped spoon back it features a serpentine front seat rail and stands on shapely carved cabriole legs terminating in original brass casters. The drop in seat has been newly recovered in a rust coloured velour fabric. Would make a wonderful bedroom or side chair.

Good colour and patina. Solid and sturdy with wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered in good quality fabric. A few old veneer mends to the seat rail. One of the casters doesn’t move side to side.
