Victorian Graduated Set of Siver Plated Meat Domes
Antique Set Of Three Graduated Silver Plated Meat Covers / Cloches.
Made by John Round and Sons established in Sheffield in 1847 becoming successful and going under the title of john round and son until 1874.
The trade mark of the firm was a globe surrounded in the inscription all the round.
These marks are inside the covers of all three graduated cloches.
The set comprising of one large meat dome, one medium and one small, each having and oval plain body with a narrow gadroon band. All incised with a W thought to originally be the property of Winchester Abbey.
Lovely rococo style handles.
Condition is very good for age, odd knock but all the silver plate is intact and lovely and clean. See all pictures.
There are hangers to all three so they can be hung on the wall looking fabulous.
