Victorian Gothic Revival Oak Chair
A very decorative antique Victorian Gothic Revival gondola style chair in solid oak dating from circa 1880. The padded back with arched top rail, which sweeps down to form low arms. To the back it has three open arches the central arch with trefoils to the top and bottom. It stands on carved geometric legs with brass casters with out-splayed legs to the back. In a padded red velour fabric. Would make a good desk chair or bedroom chair.

Solid and sturdy. Some small marks to the upholstery. Wear and marks commensurate with age to the frame. Good colour and patina. An old mend to back leg (solid).
