A substantially made, circa 1880, Victorian, mahogany gentleman’s armchair. With its deep buttoned upholstery to rear, this chair stands upon turned and fluted legs. As you can see by the array of photographs, there are no loose joints or woodworm, and the item is in good condition for its age. All of the padding and original springs and horse hair stuffing is in excellent condition. It is covered in a tapestry style material, and so all that is required is for the top coat of material to be replaced.
