A pretty antique late Victorian rhodolite garnet and seed pearl brooch made in 9ct gold.

The brooch displays a delicate gold double circular frame with central set rich rhodolite garnet which is more purple than a regular garnet. The stone is complimented by delicate seed pearls set into extending scrolls. The design of the brooch is typical of the period with gold ball decoration on the sides.

The gold is marked for 9ct quality onto an embossed lozenge.

Overall a clean antique piece with nice quality stones all intact. The pin is firm and springy and slots neatly into a roll over clasp.
