Made in Birmingham in 1865, this exquisite blue moonstone and garnet ring is a beautifully crafted example.

It is in 9 carat gold with exceptionally detailed engraving throughout.

Originally it would have had 2 raised oak leaves to decorate its shoulders, one of which is now missing.

The head of the ring is 11 mm tall and is set with 4 glowing blue moonstone cabochons and a tiny garnet.

They all show wear commensurate with age, but are free of damage.
