A pretty late 19th Century Bohemian cranberry glass portrait vase smothered in delicate hand gilded flowers and foliage on a polka dot background and with gilded bands and rims. To the centre of the vase is an applied round plaque with an exquisite painting of a portrait of a lovely young girl with a pink ribbon in her hair.

It measures 25.5cm (10") high and 8.2cm (3 1/4") wide.

Condition is very good: there is the tiniest loss of paint to the portrait just to the right of her face and a very little bit of wear to the gilding. No damage or restoration.
