Here we have a very elegant late 19th or early 20th century Silver Plated Plant Pot Stand or Holder dating to the period c.1890-1910. The stand rests on three splayed ball feet from which the legs rise to encompass two circles, which hold the plant pot in place. In between each leg is a double swag with a central floral rosette.

There are a sequence of silver plate marks on the underside of the lower circle but sadly the combination of being struck on a round bar and cleaned over many years has left them impossible for us to read.

Condition is extremely good, with no dings or dents and no significant plate loss except on the underside of the three ball feet, which is virtually impossible to avoid over an extended period of time. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The pot stand is 14.6cm / 5.7ins high and 11cm / 4.3ins in diameter across the top rim. It weighs 202g / 7.1oz.
