Antique very large quality late 19th Century ebonised and gilt finish overmantle or wall mirror.
A charming mirror, that is full of age and character. The frame has most of it's original finish, with wear and patina. Also, losses that have been sympathetically touched up over the years. No loose joints.
Overall maximum dimensions: 141cmH x 102cmW x 5cmD. Mirrored glass 118cmH x 79cmW. Considerably larger than most antique mirrors of this style.
The original bevel edge mirrored glass has very light oxidation and other minor age related imperfections.
In good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, wear and imperfections, as is generally desirable with antique furniture. Some historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure.
