This vintage powder compact is suitable for loose and pressed / solid face powder or as a handbag mirror.
The " Lipview " lipstick holder and mirror is suitable for most sizes of lipsticks as its holder is malleable and can be pressed into the shape / width of the lipstick tube.
A beautiful dark blue Wedgwood 1970s Stratton set comprising of a "Queen Convertible" powder compact and a lipstick holder with a built in mirror. Both items are in excellent condition. The lids have beautiful Wedgwood Jasperware cameos depicting the scene 'Cupid Asleep'. The mirrors are excellent & give perfect reflections. The compact is stamped 'PAT. 764125' & the base signed 'Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND'. The powder well is lined with a pristine waxed paper insert. All clasps and hinges on both items work perfectly. The " Lipview " is signed " Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND REG. DES. No_ 934048 ". The compact is fitted with the original sifter which does not look used.
An ideal 'something blue' gift set which will be shipped in an attractive gift box.
This Stratton Wedgwood powder compact measures almost 3" & weighs 115.7 grams.
The " Lipview " measures 2 1/2" and weighs 20.4 grams.
