Unusual Inlaid Armchair
An elegant Edwardian mahogany elbow chair. The unusual shaped back with a wonderful rosewood splat inlaid with ivorine and various stained woods with good pen work. The back, arms and legs all outlined with ivorine line inlay. The serpentine front seat with a central ivorine inlaid cartouche and the whole standing on elegant cabriole legs with further ivorine inlay and French style feet. In excellent original condition, the seat re-upholstered in a neutral cream material with brass studded edging.
