Unusual Arts & Crafts Carved Corner Cupboard
Interesting and possibly unique Arts & Crafts corner cabinet in oak and ash. The carved decoration depicts one of Aesop's fables that of the Fox and the Stork. Aesop was a slave of with Ethiopian or Greek origin from around 620 - 560BC. All his fables had a moral lesson to them - this one being "0ne bad turn deserves another" A beautifully carved and delightful feature for any room perhaps a nursery. The pigs and geese add more fun to the cabinet.
