Inspired by a visit to the ancient temple of Delphi, Sax Berlin created this large oil to represent the 3 Muses as they were known in Ancient Greece. Unable to agree upon names for these mystical goddesses it was agreed to name them after the three strings of the lyre Nete, Mese, and Hypate. Many years in the creation, these figures evoke the goddesses of the Delphic pantheon.

Sax Berlin is Internationally collected and regarded by many as one of Britain's greatest living artists
