Rare Chippendale style armchair for a country house, 19th Century Victorian. Displaying the 'Chinese' style together with the fashionable 'ball and claw' foot, that Thomas Chippendale popularised amongst the gentry.
Solid frame is in hardwood with mahogany exterior.This chair was probably upholstered around 40 years ago but needs completely re-upholstering.
