Statler and Waldorf From The Muppet's Lovely Unusual Framed Diorama of the 2 old Guys Statler and Waldorf sitting in their muppet theater box balcony as seen in the muppets shows.
This is a large gilt framed 3 D shadow box diorama of the jim hensons 2 old guys Statler and Waldorf,who heckle the muppets in the tv show,not sure but think the Muppet dolls figures contained in the shadow box may be by The German company Igel this company were licenced to sell official after market Muppet dolls puppets for the kermit collection some of the other muppet dolls were later re issued by Sababa Toys.
This is a large framed diorama modeld in 3 D with a heavy wide gilt frame with glass.
The Statler and Waldorf muppet figures are in their suits the detail is excellent very fine detail correct even down to the correct pattern and colour of suits and suit buttons and the theater box and red velvet curtains.
These dolls which we think are by Igel are incredibly detailed with flawless detail.The Waldorf and Statler dolls are some of the rarest and finest Muppet dolls by igel and only a limited number were produced.
This piece of Muppet memorabilia may have been made as a one off publicity piece of memorabilia possibly made by the German company Igel .
