Impressive pair of large spelter figures of the legendary Spanish literary characters Don Juan and Don Cesar (Don César de Bazan) c.1890. Standing 36" tall and beautifully modelled, with great costume detail, both posed holding their swords and with a good bronze finish. On 9" diameter bases, both titled on the front edge. Both swords are stamped for the makers Diev Leroy. Some minor surface wear, most obvious to the foot of Don Cesar. Otherwise very good condition.
