A Swedish Gustavian period giltwood pier mirror with neoclassical gouache panels and split plate mercury mirror ,the flat gilt frame withr raised parcel gilt decoration with two beautifully painted neoclassical scenes which when cleaning we found the larger one was signed to the reverse (see photos) and the original backboards also bear a makers seal and label .the plates show some sparkle with slight marks and foxing consistent with age and originality the backboards are the original with the exception of the small lower one being a later replacement .
