A superb quality pair of small woodland scenes in oil on board by Alfred Oliver. The paintings show in wonderful detail with superb use of colour, two scenes of woodland paths in autumn and summer. The works are both signed by Alfred Oliver who exhibited widely between 1886 and 1921 including seven times at the Royal Academy. The paintings are in the original high quality gilt frames and the whole are in excellent condition. The paintings have been professionally cleaned and there has been some restoration to the frames.
