Superb quality malachite inlaid brass box, circa 1880. The beautifully engraved hinged lid inset with oval medallions of malachite opening to a leather lined interior. This is an extremely well-made item with a very heavy gauge and exudes quality. Ht 12, W 18, D 10.5 cms Frank Craig Antiques established 1972, with 50 years in the antique trade.
