This is a most impressive very large French Gilt mirror with a fabulous cherubic crest dating from around 1870. The fine mirror has a grand look with the cherubs making garlands around a grand floral and leaf decorated pediment. The mirror glass is in excellent, clean condition with no marks or blemishes and the back boards are the original panels. The frame is a fine size measuring a full 2 metres in height by 110 cms wide at the base including the outward projecting scrolls.
