This is an original suffragette piece, there are so many reproductions about one has to be careful. It can be worn either as a pendant with the chain or separately as a brooch so very versatile. Different gemstones are sometimes replaced with suffragette coloured stones. We know this to be an original piece as as the stones are millegraine set which are too difficult to remove.The brooch/pendant measures 45.55 mm in length x 35.58 mm wide. The amethyst is approximately 0.25 carats and the pretty peridot drop approximately 0.20 carats and many natural seed pearls in a very pretty design all set in 15 carat yellow gold with a modern 9 carat yellow gold chain which measures 16 inches in length ( 41 cms ) Weight 5.30 grams
