This is a good large 19th Century Florentine mirror with a really imposing shape to the hand carved giltwood frame. The mirror dates from around 1870 and has a nice warm country house look with a soft antique colour to the gilding. The mirror glass is the original mercury plate which has some ageing and antique spotting to the glass as per the age of the piece.
This is substantial in size measuring 104 cms by 87 cms overall and could be hung either way round to suit your requirements.
