We have a rather attractive and ever so stylish 1930s oak lounge chair, referred to as the S394 model.

Classic quality and style from Heal’s with those long bentwood oak arms and deep sprung seat and thick comfy back. The perfect blend of comfort and character.

The frame is strong and the arms are firm with no wobbles or repairs. The seat and seat back are comfortably firm. The fabric at present is an attractive dual toned green short cut pile, which has minimal wear and slight fading in areas - perfectly usable and not off-putting.

Our upholsterer would be able to upholster in a similar style – with piping at the cost of £400 plus fabric. Please let us know if you would like us to assist.

A rather good Heal’s armchair, we have one at home!

Shipping information

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Please feel free to call the office if you have any special requirements.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
