This is a superb quality Oil on Canvas by the artist J.H.May signed and dated 1867.The painting is of the standard of works by artists such as Oliver Clare.I still have ongoing research about J H May and as yet cannot find to much about him.The painting is a joy to see with a subtle use of colour and brush strokes. A later frame has been added.
