Antique Beech Windsor Chair - Fabulous Styling - c1900

This charming elbow chair is a super shape and is presented in excellent condition.

Crafted from beech and dating from the late Victorian period this chair offers interest and style.

A shaped seat has the support arms at the mid-point then sweeping backwards to meet the curved arm rest. The chair benefits from a very unusual back-splat design with twisted risers in a 'cats cradle' formation producing a really desirable result.

A good seat height of 46cm or 18.1" - (see images for full dimensions) make this an excellent choice as a regular daily use chair for reading, fireside, study or kitchen.


The chair rides upon inverted taper legs all round and these are united by an H-stretcher for extra robustness and durability.

The beech is a pleasing and consistent colour showing good levels of grain.
