1940s Gwenda vintage cigarette case / card case / purse / Gwenda compact mirror with
Adorable & in excellent working condition. The hinge is spring loaded & everything
works perfectly. The front is pretty & engine turned & the design gives the appearance
of a gilded picture frame. The lid is decorated with very attractive pink leather & a beautiful green sharock with gilded accents. Underneath within a scroll is the word "IRELAND". Near the thumb catch the case is signed " GWENDA BRITISH MADE. "
The case is made from brass & the metal around the mirror appears to be gilded.
The mirror gives an excellent clear reflection. There is a clip to secure vintage cigarettes or money. All clasps & hinges work perfectly.
A charming an unusual vintage accessory.
