Solid Gold Bull Charm / Bull Pendant 1942
A heavy & superbly well modeled fully hallmarked 3D 9 ct gold charging bull charm / pendant with the original hanging ring. English charms made before the 1950s were handmade and so this is a unique gift suitable for a very special occasion. It is suitable for either male or female recipients.
The bull is an enchanting gift whether he is for a person born under the sign of Taurus or someone with a particular fondness for these mighty creatures. He is magnificent and in full charge. The gold has been rendered to give the appearance of fur. Even the smallest features can be seen - his eyes, muzzle, ears & horns. His tail is curled over his back. The hallmarks are clear and easy to read 9 .375 (9ct gold) anchor (assayed in Birmingham) S (1942) H. G & S (Henry Griffth & Sons). The firm was a highly regarded and long established successful family business. This solid gold charm is in outstandingly good condition.
Many 'gold' fobs and charms that are gold filled are being passed off as solid gold which is why it is essential to source items that are fully hallmarked gold.
