A small and charming English gilt wood oval mirror. The mirror is carved with elaborate intertwining vines around a central shield holding the glass. The piece retains the original gilding and is in good overall condition, there has been an old break on the left side which has been well repaired. The bevelled mirror plate is in good condition and most likely the original. The whole has a wonderful country house look and is ready to hang. C.1860.
