This is a charming mid 19th Century naïve oil painting depicting a courtyard with buildings, a pair of greyhounds near an arched front door with fabric awning and a man at the open entrance to the courtyard. Though unsigned, it is dated 1853 bottom right. It is presented in its original gilt frame.

Dimensions: 13" x 10" (33 x 25.5cm). The frame is 3.5 cm thick.

Condition: The oil painting is finely crazed but in good condition. The frame is a little distressed and has been touched up in several places.
