This sweet bisque-head doll dates from c.1910. He has '4/0 76 [Gebruder Heubach mark] 20 Germany' moulded into the back of his head. He has a bisque head with moulded hair, painted eyes, a closed mouth, and painted facial features. She has a five-piece composition socket-head bent-limb body. He is wearing a vintage white dress and knickers.
Condition Overall in very good condition with some wear consistent with age. There are no visible chips or cracks to his head. He is overall a little grubby and would benefit from a careful clean. There are some grubby marks and a few slight scuffs to his head. His body has some wear and some manufacturing flaws as might be expected. There is some slight chipping to his body in places and some chipping and wear around his fingers and toes. His clothing has some age-related discolouration and wear. His dress has some marks, pulls and fraying and the ribbon is a more modern replacement.
