Super quality French gilt wood open armchair or "canape" and of an excellent quality, circa 1880
Very decorative chair and beautifully carved throughout, lovely to see from all angles so can free stand in a room. The upholstery is obviously old and really would benefit from being re done, although it does look great as it is, fully restored it would be a stunning chair.
I do have another matching pair to this single chair available, listed separately, but can be purchased if you have a need for all three
