A silver Victorian half hunter pocket watch hallmarked for Chester 1888, signed Cook & Kelvey Calcutta. The pocket watch lies in original signed box.

DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued double spade hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed in the upper centre: “Cooke & Kelvey, Calcutta”.

MOVEMENT: The anchor lever has blued screws and is in great working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: “Cooke & Kelvey, Calcutta” and numbered: 138491.

CASE: The watch lies in a silver half hunter case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is hallmarked for silver Chester 1888 and the casemakers initials are TM.

The pocket watch comes in original box, signed “By Appointment To His Excellency The Viceroy of India, Cooke & Kelvey, Watch Makers, Calcutta & Simla”.
