A charming late Victorian cut crystal inkwell with a sterling silver collar and hinged lid. The lid is in the form a an Owl's head retaining his two original glass eyes.

The collar has the makers mark together with an English design registration number for the year 1895. The Owl has the makers mark, the lion passant and the letter U into a shield for London 1895.

Excellent condition measuring 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 3" tall.
