A fabulous and highly sought-after cake stand made from silver plate or EPNS (Electro-Plated Nickel Silver).

The three tiers each has a removable plate with a pierced or reticulated border. All three having a matching mark, as does the stand, for William Suckling together with the signpost sign.

Late Edwardian in era, dating to around 1910. Beautiful condition and ready for use. The footprint measures 11" x 11" and stands 16" tall. Each plate has a diameter measuring 8".
