Silver Plated Box from SS Arandora Star
A silver plated box from the SS Arandora Star ship which was a passenger ship from 1927-1929 when it was converted into a cargo ship. She was sunk in 1940. Has enamelled flag with 'SS Arandora Star' underneath to centre of lid. Made by the renowned maker, Mappin & Webb, circa 1920s.
