The very best of it's kind, a square Silver Plated Biscuit Barrel with it's original Frosted Glass Liner.It has hinged lid with Knop,is pierced all round and stands on square base with four paw Feet.The Liner is perfect with no chips or cracks and the Plating is in excellent condition with very little signs of wear.The plate mark on base is for Joseph Hirons,Henry Hudson Plante & Co.Birmingham, 1863-1882. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
