A most unusual Asparagus dish made from English silver plate and dating to around 1880 / 1900, late Victorian in era.

The dish stands on four stunning feet and had two decorative floral and foliate handles. The underside is where the full mark can be found for Thomas Wilkinson.

My silversmith was clever enough to find me a stunning pair of tongs to go along with the dish by the top notch silversmith William Hutton, having a beautiful pierced or reticulated decoration.

Excellent condition measuring 12" x 9 1/2" x 2" tall.
