Firstly, I have to state that the agate pen belongs to another item we are selling and is not included in this listing and was used for photographic purposes only.

This is a most unusual desk set by the highly collectable and sought-after silversmith, Hukin and Heath. Particularly desirable being a romantic heart shape.

The set consists of the heart shaped stand with two pen rests to the front to accommodate two pens, a removable little taper stick, a seal, a match strike and the original "non-spill" glass inkwell.

The underside is fully marked by the maker. Dating to around 1900, late Victorian or Edwardian in era, the set measures 6 1/2" x 6" x 3" at tallest point.
