Solid Silver Multi gem Retro Bouquet Brooch circa 1940s
Beautiful & sparkly with 9 different gemstones.
Hand set and handmade.
I can recognise a few of the stones: Citrine, Jade, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Moonstone....
Dimensions:
7 cm long, 2 cm wide
Larger stone: 0.8 x 0.7 cm
Smaller stone: 0.6 cm in diameter
Condition:
Good to fair. Setting has a couple of splits and altered shape in two places.
Jade stone has damage. Citrine has an interior crack. Please see photos.
Moonestone has a chip at the back, and the smallest purple blue stone has scratched surface.
These faults are mentioned for accuracy but in my opinion this is a beautiful and rare "Gem".
and not bad for its 70 years of age.
