A very elegant George III carved wood silver leaf mirror . when acquired this mirror had three layers of white paint on and and two layers of later gilding which was all dry stripped back to the original silver finish that it now has . At some point in the early 20th cent possibly when being re gilt a replacement bevelled mirror was installed .[ see old trade label ]
