A silver J.W. Benson keyless wind, open face pocket watch with a silver chain, hallmarked for Birmingham 1954. The pocket watch is complete with a silver chain, approx. 30.5 cm long. The chain is a swell hallmarked.
DIAL: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blues hands with a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed: “J.W. Benson, London, Made in England”. The protective glass is in great condition.
MOVEMENT: The half plate movement has 15 jewels and is in good working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: “Made in England, 15 jewels” and numbered: 88025.
CASE: The watch lies in a silver ALD case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is hallmarked for Birmingham 1954 and numbered: 744606. The inner side of the cuvette is stamped for J.W. Benson and ALD case.
